I enjoy the thrill of stepping out of my comfort zone, like
Climbing walls, even though I’m afraid of heights.
Acting on stage, even though I’m a introverted person.
Trying new things helps me stay curious—and that’s what keeps me designing.

Design isn’t art

Where I am on the way🧑‍🎨

Practice over perfection

When I first read “The Design of Everyday Things”, I realized intuitive interaction is far more meaningful than visual "coolness". Good design speaks to the user's mind, not just their eyes.

I used to cry over not designing the "perfect UI" I had in my head (yes, a little embarrassing 😅).
But work taught me something more important—design lives in the dynamic balance between user needs and business goals. There’s no perfect answer. But practice gets us closer.

The present is always the best time

I used to be obsessed with the so-called "golden age" of design—Braun, IBM, Sony, Apple—those iconic, era-defining brands that shaped the way we think about product and industrial design.

But just like Midnight in Paris reminded me:

“The present is always the best time.”

I now believe: “The present is always the best time.” We can build something just as meaningful, here and now.

Experiencing everything

When MUJI became a design icon in China, I didn’t just admire it from afar—I joined them as a part-time worker. I watched how their staff worked, how customers talked, how their brand philosophy lived in every detail. That was my first deep lesson in brand tone and product cohesion.

So, I am looking for...

I’m deeply thankful for the team I used to work with—we shared product reviews every Friday, from visuals to UX to strategy. That experience shaped my product sense and made me love discussing, critiquing, and learning together. Even now, I keep the habit of experiencing new products and journaling how they made me feel.

I’m looking for a product team that values deep thinking, user insight, and craft—where I can keep learning, growing, and building tools that make a meaningful difference.
Let’s make now the best time to design. ✨

A product designer, currently majoring in Human computer interaction design at Indiana University.

I’m a curious design and a product experience optimizer, who’s lucky enough to say—my passion happens to be my job. I love observing how people think and act, and I design with empathy, clarity, and intention.
